On September 6, China Membrane Industry Association issued the “Decision on Issuing the 2022 “Membrane Industry Patent Award” after the review of experts. The patent of Shandong Huaxia Shenzhou New Materials Co., Ltd., whose name is “Material of High-strength and high-toughness PVDF solar back sheet film and its preparation method”, won the Gold Award.
This patent aims to solve the problem of the low strength and toughness of PVDF solar back sheet films in the prior art. The PVDF back sheet film prepared by the method in this patent has obvious improvement in tensile strength in MD direction, elongation at break, tensile strength in TD direction, elongation at break, etc. Also it has significant features of low light rate, high sunlight reflectivity, and high utilization of sunlight by the back panel components.
In recent years, there have been many good news for Shenzhou Company. In 2015, it won the National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise, and in 2017, it won the National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise Award. In 2020, its patent project “a perfluorinated ion exchange resin and its preparation method and application” won the 21st China Patent Gold Award, achieving a breakthrough of zero China Patent Gold Award in Zibo City. In 2021, it was recognized as a demonstration enterprise of technological innovation in Shandong Province, and in 2022, two of its projects were selected as key projects in Shandong Province.
As a major company in the membrane industry, Huaxia Shenzhou has been focusing on the research and development, production and application of membrane technology. The high-strength and high-toughness PVDF solar back sheet film material it develops and produces is the key material for the sustainable development of China’s solar back sheet, which is of great importance to the development of green industry.
